As a non-traditional visitor of the Layang Layang Resort I only came to the island to operate amateur radio for about a wee. In the preparation of the trip I got great support from the staff of the Layang Layang Island Resort office in Kuala Lumpur and the resort manager on the island. With their assistance I got the necessary permission justin time. They were also kind enough to swap rooms so I had a more favorable location for my antena installation. It was a fantastic experience to be on Layang Layang and to enjoy the good care, food, facilities and also my amateur radio operation. It has become one of my best radio related trips. |
